Horizons Network
Horizons National
Horizons Graland is one of over 70 sites in the award-winning Horizons National Network. Beginning in 1964 in New Canaan, Connecticut, the program was started to help level the playing field and offer educational opportunities to students who might not otherwise have access, and has grown over time.
Horizons Colorado
Horizons Graland is one of three Horizons sites in the Metro Denver area!
Horizons Colorado at Colorado Academy (HCCA) was founded in 1998 and was the first Horizons site established in Colorado. Over the past 26 years, more than 250 students have graduated from our dynamic summer program. Currently, HCCA's summer program supports more than 225 students in grades PreK through 12 each year, and over time, supports have been added, including a comprehensive year-round high school mentoring program, and transition supports to aid students navigating post-secondary options in pursuit of their career goals.
Horizons Colorado at Graland Country Day School launched in the summer of 2024. The program served 25 elementary school students in the first year and plans to expand strategically each year.
Horizons Colorado at Montessori School of Denver launched in the summer of 2024 and serves preschool-aged children. It is the first preschool Horizons site in the network!
