Our Program
Summer Experience
The summer program runs for six weeks Monday through Friday for students in Kindergarten - Grade 5. It typically begins the second week of June through the third week of July. Students engage in rigorous, project-based academics, enrichment activities, including swimming, community-building events, and field trips.

Year-Round Program
A Consistent Commitment
Throughout the year, we make a point to involve our families in their students’ learning experience. Our program hosts Super Saturday events for Horizons students and their families, providing opportunities to engage in fun, educational activities together. These events are designed to maintain a year-round relationship with our students, reinforcing academic skills, building community connections, and supporting each child’s growth beyond the summer months.
Programming examples include:
- Visit to a local public library and an opportunity to get a personal library card
- Swim day at a local high school pool
- Outdoor games and sports activities
- Art, math, design-thinking and innovation
